3 Basic requirements

3.1 Packaging shall meet scientific, economical, firm, aesthetic and marketable requirements. In the circulation environment, it shall be ensured that the product does not cause rust, mildew, reduced accuracy, damage or loss due to improper packaging during the agreement period between the supply and demand sides.

3.2 Packaging design shall be based on product characteristics, circulation environment conditions, and customer requirements, so that the packaging is compact, safe and reliable, with reasonable protection.

3.3 The product must be qualified after inspection and well protected before exterior and interior packing. The accompanying files shall be complete.

4 Packing modes and protective packaging methods

4.1 The packing modes mainly include box package (common wooden cases, skid wooden boxes, wooden framed cases, corrugated boxes, plywood cases, fiberboard cases, calcium-plastic boxes, magnesium oxychloride concrete cases, cases with plybamboo, plastic cases, calcium-plastic corrugated boxes [Translator. CALP boxes], metal boxes, honeycomb pallet boxes, etc.),

4.2 The protective packaging methods mainly include: waterproof packaging, moisture-proof packaging, mould-proof packaging, rustproof packaging, cushion packaging, dust-proof packaging, anti-electrostatic packaging, etc.

5 Technical requirements

5.1 Packaging material The selected packaging material shall not cause color change or rust on the surface of the product, nor shall it cause damage to the product due to deformation of the packaging material.

5.1.1 Wood The wood for packaging shall meet the following requirements.

5.1.2 Corrugated fiberboard The corrugated fiberboard for packaging shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 6544.

5.1.3 Plywood The plywood for packaging shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 9846.

5.1.4 Fiberboard The fiberboard for packaging shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 12626.

5.1.9 Other materials The packaging can also use other materials that have been proven to be reliable in performance after test, and can also use two or more materials. However, regardless of the type of material used, it shall be ensured that its strength and performance conform to the characteristics of the product and the requirements for the circulation environment.

5.2.2 Packing

5.2.2.1 When packing the product, its center of gravity shall be lower centered as far as possible. Products with a high center of gravity shall use horizontal packaging as much as possible. Products of which the centers of gravity have more obvious deviations from the center shall take corresponding balance measures.

5.2.3 Reinforcement

5.2.3.1 After sealed, the wooden boxes shall be reinforced according to the provisions of the relevant wooden box standard.

5.2.4 Each packaging box shall have sufficient strength. According to the mass and characteristics of the package, the test items such as the test methods specified in Chapter 6 shall be selected as the relevant test items. After the test, there shall be no obvious displacement of the fixture inside the box; the appearance, performance, accuracy, and relevant technical parameters of the product shall be within the allowable tolerances; the packaging box shall be free from obvious damage and deformation, and shall comply with the provisions of relevant standards and the design requirements.

5.3 Open package When the open package skid is made of wood, it shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 10819.When the skid is made of other materials, it shall be designed, produced, and packed based on its material characteristics and strength, with reference to the principle specified in GB/T 10819.The product shall be fastened to the skid to prevent movement during transportation.

6 Test methods

In accordance with the characteristics and requirements of the package itself, as well as the actual environmental conditions of circulation, the relevant items in GB/T 4857, GB/T 5048, GB/T 4879, and GB/T 5398 shall be appropriately tested.

7 Packaging marks and accompanying files
