Scope

GB/T 30425-2025 is the English-translated version of 高压直流输电换流阀水冷却设备.

GB/T 30425-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the closed water loop that removes heat from an HVDC converter valve — the main circulation pump, deionisation unit, heat exchanger and pipework, the conductivity and pH of the internal cooling water, which has to stay non-conducting while it flows through an energised valve, the dielectric strength and grounding resistance, the redundant control and protection with standby switching, the trip signals to the station control system, and the annual availability. It replaces GB/T 30425-2013, under the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. In force from 1 November 2025. Issued on 25 April 2025, it has been in force since 1 November 2025, replacing GB/T 30425-2013.
