Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 13201-1997 "Cylindrical Transport Package Dimension Series". Compared with GB/T 13201-1997, except for the structure In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The size series of packaging unit goods has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.1997 edition);

b) The maximum outer diameter of cylindrical transport packaging has been changed (see Table 2, Table 2 of the.1997 edition);

c) Changed the height dimension requirements for cylindrical transport packages (see 5.4, Chapter 5 of the.1997 edition);

d) The diagram of the arrangement of cylindrical transport packaging units (see Appendix A of the.1997 edition) has been modified. 1 Scope

GB/T 13201-2025 is the Chinese national standard on dimensions of cylinder transport packages, in the field of packaging and distribution of goods. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 30 June 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 January 2026. Classification: ICS 55.020, CCS A80. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15233 apply to this document.

4.Packaging unit cargo size and serial code The dimensions of the packaging unit cargo shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 15233, and the serial code shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Table

5 Cylindrical transport packaging size series

5.1 The size series of cylindrical transport packaging shall comply with Table 2.

5.2 For example diagrams of packaging unit arrangements for cylindrical transport packaging size series, see Appendix A.

5.3 The maximum deviation of the outer diameter of cylindrical transport packaging is -4%.

5.4 The height dimensions of cylindrical transport packaging shall be determined according to product characteristics, transportation vehicles and storage conditions.
