Scope
GB/T 32456-2025 is the English-translated version of 橡胶塑料机械用节能型加热系统通用技术规范.
GB/T 32456-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the heating that replaces resistance bands on an extruder barrel or a vulcanising press — the electromagnetic, far infrared and quartz high conductivity arrangements, the energy saving rate and the rated power deviation, the soft start and the alarm when a heater fails, the temperature limits on coils and insulation, the insulation resistance, leakage current and the field strength around a coil an operator stands next to, and the inspection rules. It replaces GB/T 32456-2015, which covered electromagnetic heating alone. Under the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. In force from 1 October 2025. Issued on 28 March 2025, it has been in force since 1 October 2025, replacing GB/T 32456-2015.
