1 Scope

This standard defines the terminology of rubber and plastic general machinery, rubber special machinery, plastic special machinery and rubber plastic machinery safety. definition.

3 General technical terms for rubber and plastics

3.1 Closed rubber mixing and refining machinery

3.1.1 Closed rubber mixer machine (mixer)

A rotor with a pair of specific shapes and oppositely rotating, blending rubber, plastic and rubber in a closed cavity with adjustable temperature and pressure A machine that is used for mastication or mixing.

3.1.2 Flip mixer (pressurized kneader)

A closed type rubber mixer refining machine that discharges by means of a reversing chamber.

3.1.3 Total volume

The volume of the cavity between the mixing chamber, the discharge door and the rotor when the pressure drops to the lowest position.

3.1.4 Working volume

The volume in which the mixing chamber actually works, that is, the volume of material that can be plasticized or kneaded each time.

3.1.5 Fill factor

The ratio of the working volume of the mixing chamber to the total volume.

3.1.6 Rotor speed ratio

The ratio of the rotational speeds of the front and rear rotors of the internal mixer is expressed as 1. (ratio of the rear rotor speed to the front rotor speed).

3.1.7 Right drive

The operator faces the mixer feed door and the transmission is on the right side of the transmission.
