Scope
GB/T 30200-2023 is the English-translated version of 橡胶塑料注射成型机能耗检测方法.
GB/T 30200-2023 describes how the energy consumption of a rubber or plastics injection moulding machine is measured and rated, both as specific energy consumption and as standby power.
It fixes the detection range, the preparation before the test, the test parameters for rubber and for plastics injection moulding machines, the standby power measurement method and the measurement of the energy consumption tied to the product moulded, and its annexes give the energy consumption grades and the energy-saving evaluation values.
It applies to single-screw plunger, single injection unit rubber injection moulding machines with hot plate electric heating and to single injection unit thermoplastic machines with an electrically heated barrel able to process polypropylene pellets; other machines may refer to it.
It replaces GB/T 30200-2013, was issued on 7 September 2023 and has applied since 1 April 2024.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 30200-2013 "Method for Energy Consumption Testing of Rubber Plastic Injection Molding Machines" and is consistent with GB/T 30200-2013 In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Changed the applicable limits of the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2013 edition);
---Change the term "whole machine power consumption" to "whole machine energy consumption" (see 3.1, 2013 version of 3.1), delete the term "average power consumption" "Consumption" (see 3.3 of the 2013 edition), adding the terms and definitions of "standby state" and "standby power" (see 3.3 and 3.4);
---Changed the "detection range" (see Chapter 4, 4.2.11 and 4.2.12 of the 2013 version);
---Deleted reading and recording measurement data (see 4.3.4~4.3.6 of the 2013 version);
---Added content related to pre-test preparation (see 5.4.3 and 5.4.5);
---Changed the test parameters of the rubber injection molding machine (see Table 1, Table 1 of the 2013 version);
---Changed the test parameters of the plastic injection molding machine (see Table 2, Table 2 of the 2013 version);
---Added standby power measurement method (see 5.5.7);
--- Added energy consumption measurement methods related to products (see 5.6 and Appendix B);
---Changed the energy consumption level and energy saving evaluation value (see Appendix C, Appendix B of the 2013 version).
1 Scope
This document describes the detection and evaluation methods of energy consumption (specific energy consumption and standby power) of rubber plastic injection molding machines.
This document is applicable to single-screw plunger type, single-injection unit rubber injection molding machines with hot plate electric heating and single-injection unit, single-screw Rod (or single-screw plunger type), electrically heated barrel, thermoplastic injection molding machine that can process polypropylene (PP) pellets (hereinafter referred to as "injection molding machine") energy consumption detection. Other injection molding machines can refer to this document for implementation.
