GB/T 45819-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a centrifugal pump handling single-phase liquid hydrogen — the design and the materials that stay tough at cryogenic temperature, the performance and the safety requirements, the room temperature test and the low temperature test, the normative conversion between media that lets a warm result stand for a cold one, the liquid hydrogen saturated vapour pressure that governs how little suction margin there is, and the factory and type inspections. Submersible liquid hydrogen pumps are outside its scope. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 September 2025. Issued on 30 May 2025, it has been in force since 1 September 2025.

1 Scope

This document applies to centrifugal pumps that transport single-phase liquid hydrogen.
This document does not apply to submersible liquid hydrogen pumps.
