Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document is Part 2 of GB/T 19229 "Desulfurization Equipment for Coal-fired Flue Gas". GB/T 19229 has already published the following parts.

1.Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization Equipment for Coal-fired Gas;

2.Dry/Semi-dry Flue Gas Desulfurization Equipment for Coal-fired Gas;

3.Seawater desulfurization equipment for coal-fired flue gas. This document supersedes GB/T 19229.2-2011 "Coal-fired Flue Gas Desulfurization Equipment - Part

2.Dry/Semi-dry Desulfurization Equipment for Coal-fired Flue Gas". Compared with GB/T 19229.2-2011, the main technical changes in the "Preparation" are as follows, except for structural adjustments and editorial modifications.

a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);

b) Added terms and definitions for dry/semi-dry desulfurization equipment for coal-fired flue gas, calcium-sulfur ratio, and equipment pressure drop (see 3.1, 3.7, 3.8);

c) The following were removed. dry/semi-dry flue gas desulfurization process, main project, desulfurization island, desulfurization unit, absorbent preparation unit, molar ratio, and pressure. Terms and definitions for power reduction, desulfurization byproducts, and equipment availability (see 3.1-3.4, 3.8, 3.10-

3.13 of the.2011 edition);

d) The definitions of the terms absorption tower, pre-dust collector, desulfurization dust collector, absorbent, and desulfurization efficiency have been changed (see 3.2-3.6,.2011 edition). (3.14, 3.5, 3.6,

e) Added "Types and Compositions" (see Chapter 4);

f) Specific technical requirements for desulfurization equipment for three typical processes have been added (see 5.3);

g) Added debugging and acceptance procedures (see 5.9);

1 Scope

GB/T 19229.2-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering dry and semi-dry desulphurisation - the circulating fluidised bed or spray dryer absorber, the lime consumption against the removal achieved, the dry product handled instead of a slurry, and the performance guarantees. Part 2 of the series. It replaces GB/T 19229.2-2011, in force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 31 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 19229.2-2011.

This document specifies the types, composition, and technical requirements of dry/semi-dry desulfurization equipment for coal-fired flue gas, and describes the corresponding test methods. Inspection rules, markings, documents, packaging, transportation, and storage were established. This document applies to the manufacture of dry/semi-dry desulfurization equipment for coal-fired flue gas. It applies to fuels such as natural gas, oil, biomass, and blended fuels. This should be used as a reference when coal-fired boilers and industries such as steel, coking, non-ferrous metal smelting, building materials, and chemicals require dry/semi-dry flue gas desulfurization measures.
