Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 24854-2010 "General Technical Conditions for Packaging of Grain and Oil Machinery Products" and is consistent with GB/T 24854-2010. Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The term "closed box" and its definition (see

3.2 in the.2010 edition) have been removed, and the term "skid" (see

3.2 in the.2010 edition) has been changed. 3.3) The English equivalent of "sleeper" (see 3.3,

3.4 in the.2010 edition);

---The selection criteria for product packaging methods have been changed, and explanations regarding the main packaging methods have been added (see 4.1.1,.2010 version). 4.1.1) Product packaging should meet practicality requirements (see 4.1.2,.2010 version 4.1.2), which clarifies partial packaging and simplified packaging. The applicable conditions and regulations that must be met when using non-boxed packaging methods (see 4.1.6,

---Added requirements for clear information labeling on spare parts (accessories) packaging (see 4.1.3); added material requirements for the packaging box chassis. 1 Scope

GB/T 24854-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering packing a milling or oil processing machine for shipment - the preservation of machined surfaces, the securing of moving parts, the crating and the marking, on equipment that often travels a long way to a rural site. It replaces GB/T 24854-2010. It was issued on 31 December 2025 and has been in force since 1 July 2026, replacing GB/T 24854-2010. The document is under the responsibility of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration.
