1 Scope

GB/T 46296-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the optical sorter set to work on beans, millet and buckwheat rather than rice - the cameras and the illumination, the ejector response, the sorting accuracy and the good grain carried out with the rejects, and the re-sort pass. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 8231, GB/T 8875, GB/T 10459 and GB/T 10462, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1 This device uses photoelectric principles to select discolored grains from miscellaneous grains based on differences in optical characteristics.

Note. It mainly consists of a feeding mechanism, a conveying mechanism, a photoelectric detector, an execution unit, and a computer control system as its core components.

3.2 Discolored kernels Particles that are significantly different in color from the normal grains in the batch and whose discoloration exceeds 1 mm^2.
