Scope
GB/T 35993-2018 is the English-translated version of 粮油机械 面筋测定仪.
GB/T 35993-2018 covers gluten testers, the grain and oil machinery used to measure the quality of gluten in wheat and wheat flour. This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of gluten meter, working principle, product classification, model number, basic parameters, technical requirements, and test methods. Laws, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage requirements.
This standard applies to gluten analyzers that measure the quality of wheat and wheat flour.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 5506.2 and GB/T 5506.4 apply to this document.
3.1 Gluten index
The wet gluten was washed out according to the standard test method. After centrifugation using a centrifugal index meter, the gluten quality remained on the centrifugal index sieve accounted for the total gluten Quality quality score.
3.2 Washer
A certain amount of wheat flour, granule flour or whole wheat flour plus washings are used to wash out wet gluten equipment.
3.3 Centrifuge index
The gluten washed out by the scrubber separates the water or the gluten of different qualities through a special sieve or sieve box.
