NB/T 42051-2015 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables with aluminium alloy conductors rated 0.6/1 kV.

It sets the structure, the materials and the test requirements for cables of that rating in fixed distribution installations. Its field of use is the distribution wiring of buildings, structures and their ancillary facilities, and flame retardant, low smoke and halogen-free types are included.

Chinese classification K13 and international classification 29.060.20 apply. Among the many standards it cites are GB/T 156-2007, the GB/T 2951 series, the GB/T 3048 parts, GB/T 3956-2008, the GB/T 18380 series, the GB/T 20975 series, GB/T 30552-2014, the JB/T 8137 parts and IEC 60684-2. Issued on 2 April 2015, it has applied since 1 September 2015.
