Scope

GB/T 18380.33-2022 is the English-translated version of 电缆和光缆在火焰条件下的燃烧试验 第33部分:垂直安装的成束电线电缆火焰垂直蔓延试验 A类.

GB/T 18380.33-2022 is the Chinese standard "Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions - Part 33: Test for vertical flame spread of vertically-mounted bunched wires or cables - Category A".

Its scope clause reads: This document describes the Class A test method for evaluating the suppression of flame sag under specified conditions of vertically installed bundled electrical or optical cables.

The ability to spread straight. This document applies to the total nominal volume of non-metallic materials contained in the cable or optical cable sample section installed on the test steel ladder of 7L/m.

The fire time is 40min. Cables and optical cables are installed in front of the steel ladder, and cables with a conductor cross-section greater than 35mm2 are based on the number of cable sample segments.

Choose standard steel ladders or wide steel ladders, and use standard steel ladders for cables and optical cables with conductor cross-sections of 35mm2 and below.

Class A is used to assess high In the case of the volume content of metal materials. This test is used for type approval test. See Appendix A for the selection requirements for test cables and optical cables.

Flame spread through cable and fiber optic test The damage range of the sample is determined. This test procedure can be used to verify the ability of electrical and fiber optic cables to suppress the spread of flames.

Recommended performance requirements are given in Appendix B. Note. The term "wire and cable" in this document includes all metal conductor insulated cables used for power or signal transmission. Its clauses include terms and definitions.

1 Scope

This document describes the Class A test method for evaluating the suppression of flame sag under specified conditions of vertically installed bundled electrical or optical cables.

Class A is used to assess high

In the case of the volume content of metal materials.

This test is used for type approval test. See Appendix A for the selection requirements for test cables and optical cables. Flame spread through cable and fiber optic test

The damage range of the sample is determined. This test procedure can be used to verify the ability of electrical and fiber optic cables to suppress the spread of flames.

Recommended performance requirements are given in Appendix B.

Note. The term "wire and cable" in this document includes all metal conductor insulated cables used for power or signal transmission.
