Foreword

This standard replaces GB 12527-1990 "rated voltage 1kV and below aerial insulated cables."

This standard compared with GB 12527-1990 main changes are as follows.

--- Modify the definition of the rated voltage (1990 version 3.4, 3.4 of this standard);

--- Modify the product representation (1990 version 3.7, 4.3 of this standard);

--- Increased aluminum and aluminum alloy conductor single core cable specifications 300mm2,400mm2 (see Table 2 and Table 4);

--- Removed the stranded conductor than a predetermined pitch diameter and twist to the (1990 version 7.1.2);

--- A sign of increased core method (see 7.2.2).

Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex, Annex B normative appendix.
