1 Scope
GB/T 4909 provisions of this part of the bare wire size measurement test measurement tools, sample preparation, measurement procedures, test results and commentary

3 Measuring Tools
3.1 micrometer
Micrometer diameter should be consistent with GB/T 1216-2004 provides leverage micrometer shall conform to GB/T 8061-2004 requirements.
For 0.1mm below the specimen, measuring micrometer should be 0.1N ~ 1.0N, probe diameter should be 2mm ~ 8mm. for
0.1mm and above the specimen, measuring micrometer should 1N ~ 3N, probe diameter should be 5mm ~ 8mm.
Allows the use of other suitable measuring tool.
3.2 vernier caliper
Vernier caliper should be consistent with GB/T 21389-2008 requirements.
3.3 steel skin ruler
300mm and 1000mm two specifications.
3.4 projector or magnifying glass
Magnification of 10 times to 20 times.
3.5 Special model
Standard model or template limit.
