1 Foreword

JB/T 5332.2-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5332.2-1991.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 5332 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on electric submersible pump cables that deals with the motor lead cable at rated voltages up to and including 3.6/6 kV. It states the service characteristics of the lead cable, its models and sizes, its technical requirements and its testing. It applies to the lead cable of electric submersible pump units at 3.6/6 kV and below, the cable whose lower end goes to the terminal box of the submersible motor and whose upper end is joined to the power cable. The part supersedes JB/T 5332.2-1991, is classified K13 and 29.060.20.
