1 Foreword

JB/T 4014.2-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4014.2-1996.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 4014 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 4014.2-2013 forms the second part of the Chinese recommended standard on winding wires for submersible motors and is devoted to polyethylene insulated, nylon sheathed water-resistant winding wire. For this wire the standard fixes the varieties, the specifications, the technical requirements and the tests. It applies to water-filled submersible motors and to electrical equipment working at an alternating rated voltage U0/U of 450/750 V. The part replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4014.2-1996, carries the Chinese classification K12 and the international classification 29.060.01, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The documents it quotes are GB/T 2951.11-2008, GB/T 2951.12-2008, GB/T 3048.4-2007, GB/T 3048.5-2007, GB/T 3048.8-2007, GB/T 4074.2 and JB/T 4014.1-2013.
