1 Foreword

JB/T 5332.4-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5332.4-1991.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 5332 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the round power cable part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on electric submersible pump cables of rated voltages up to and including 3.6/6 kV with the round power cable. It lays down the service characteristics of the round cable, its models and sizes, its technical requirements and its testing. The cable belongs to electric submersible pump units at 3.6/6 kV and below; its lower end is connected to the lead cable and its upper end to the control cabinet on the surface. The text supersedes JB/T 5332.4-1991. The Chinese classification is K13 and the international classification 29.060.20.
