1 Foreword

JB/T 5332.1-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5332.1-1991.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 5332 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the general part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on electric submersible pump cables of rated voltages up to and including 3.6/6 kV. It covers the products themselves, the terms and definitions, the symbols and the product designation, then the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking and packaging. It applies to both the lead cables and the power cables of electric submersible pump units at 3.6/6 kV and below. The part replaces JB/T 5332.1-1991. Its Chinese classification is K13 and its international classification 29.060.20.
