Scope
GB/T 30600-2022 is the English-translated version of 高标准农田建设 通则.
GB/T 30600-2022 is the Chinese general rule for the construction of well-facilitated, high-standard farmland.
It fixes the basic principles of such construction, the areas in which it is carried out, and then the content and the technical requirements of the work: the farmland infrastructure - levelling, irrigation and drainage, field roads, power supply, shelter belts and monitoring - and the improvement of soil fertility, together with the management requirements that go with the projects.
It applies to high-standard farmland that is newly built or upgraded. Agricultural authorities, design institutes and contractors use it. It replaces GB/T 30600-2014, was issued on 9 March 2022 and has applied since 1 October 2022.

Introduction
Since the release of GB/T 30600-2014, it has unified high-standard farmland construction standards, improved the quality of farmland construction, and standardized farmland construction.
Activities played an important role. In recent years, the agricultural and rural situation and the new changes in the management system of high-standard farmland construction have New and higher requirements are put forward. At the same time, GB 50288, GB/T 21010 and other standards cited in GB/T 30600-2014 have been revised successively.
GB/T 33469 and other relevant standards have been released and implemented, and GB/T 30600-2014 has gradually emerged in practical applications, making it difficult to meet the needs of agricultural Modernization development requirements. In order to continuously improve farmland infrastructure, enhance farmland soil strength, and consolidate the foundation of national food security, the "General Office of the State Council" The Opinions on Effectively Strengthening the Construction of High-standard Farmland to Improve the National Food Security Guarantee (Guobanfa [2019] No. 50) requires speeding up the repair Set general rules for high-standard farmland construction. General rules for high-standard farmland construction
