Scope
GB/T 33766-2017 is the English-translated version of 独立太阳能光伏电源系统技术要求.
GB/T 33766-2017 sets the technical requirements for stand-alone solar photovoltaic power systems in China, together with the terms and definitions and the test methods.
It applies to systems whose photovoltaic modules are rated below 1.0 kW and whose output is DC at 72 V or less, or AC at 220 V. The requirements start from the parts such a system is made of: photovoltaic modules, controller, storage battery and inverter.
Three informative annexes cover the design of the system configuration, the level of exposure, and how the balance point is found, where the generating efficiency curve of the modules crosses the load curve.
Clause 2 cites fifteen standards, among them GB/T 9535, GB/T 20321.1, GB/T 20321.2, GB/T 29196-2012, GB 31241, JB/T 11137 and JB/T 11140. It was issued on 31 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 System balance point
The equilibrium point of the system is the equilibrium point between the minimum solar radiation and the load, that is, the intersection of the efficiency of the component power generation and the load curve.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 System components
The main part of the independent solar photovoltaic power system consists of components such as PV modules, controllers, accumulators and inverters.
