1 Scope
This document specifies the routine of XLPE insulated long-length AC submarine cables and accessories with a rated voltage of 500kV (Um=550kV).
Test methods and requirements for test, sampling test, type test, prequalification test, prequalification extension test and post-installation electrical test.
This document applies to 500kV XLPE insulated AC submarine cables (including optical fiber composite) and factory joints (soft joints), repairs
