This section GB/T 2900 Part 20.

This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GB/T 2900.20-1994 "Electrotechnical Terminology high-voltage switchgear and control equipment." this portion of the GB/T 2900.20-1994 main differences are as follows.

--- Delete the relevant test content and test equipment terminology;

--- According to IEC 60050 (441). 1984 reg rearrange the order;

--- Increase in Appendix A "high voltage DC switch terms";

--- Increasing the term under the relevant clauses, terms numbered starting from 101.

This section uses redrafted law revision using IEC 60050 (441). 1984 "switchgear, control equipment and fuses." this part of IEC 60050 (441). 1984 main differences are as follows.

--- Delete the contents of 441-18 fuses;

--- Increase in Appendix A "high voltage DC switch terms";

--- Increasing the term under the relevant clauses, terms numbered starting from 101.

The chapters in this section, the order of the arrangement with the IEC 60050 (441). 1984 consistent, complementary to the content of these clauses are given the same reference under the heading, and additional terms numbered starting from 101.

1 Scope

This section GB/T 2900 specifies the rated voltage 3.6kV and above high-voltage switchgear and control equipment (hereinafter referred to as the switching and control equipment) and assembly parts related to the generic term, switchgear and control equipment, switching means the definition of its components, and the operating characteristic parameters, such as electrical terms.

This section applies to circuit breakers, disconnectors, grounding switch, load switch, bypass switch,, isolation circuit breakers, reclosers, segmentation, contactors, starters, combinations, metal-enclosed switchgear and other switching equipment and control equipment.

The term standard high-voltage AC fuses see GB/T 15166.1.

3 Generic term

Switching and control equipment Switch means and its associated control, measurement, protection and regulation of a combination of devices, and these devices and equipment with associated electrical connections, accessories, enclosures and supporting members of the general assembly.

Switchgear

Mainly used for power generation, transmission, distribution and power conversion and switching means associated with its control, measurement, protection and regulation of a combination of devices, including connected by these devices and equipment and internal associated accessories, housing and support member assembly thereof.

Control Equipment

Mainly used to control the switching device electrical equipment and switching devices and associated control, measurement, protection and regulation of the device known as a combination. Including the assembly of these devices and equipment and associated internal connections, accessories, enclosures and supporting member thereof.

Indoor switchgear and control equipment it can not withstand the wind, rain, snow, ice and heavy frost and other effects, suitable for installation of switchgear and control equipment in the building or shelter used.

Outdoor switchgear and control equipment can withstand wind, rain, snow, contamination, condensation, ice and heavy frost and other effects, suitable for installation of switchgear and control equipment used in the open air.
