JB/T 8739-2015 was issued by MIIT on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8739-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for explosion-proof high-voltage power distribution equipment used in mines. It sets the terms and definitions, the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it covers marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the equipment. The subject of its scope is the mine explosion-proof high-voltage distribution device itself, called the distribution device through the text. Among the standards it quotes are GB 1984-2014, several parts of GB 3836, GB/T 11022-2011 and JB/T 4002-2013.
