JB/T 8754-2018 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2018 and has been in force since 1 December 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8754-2007, JB/T 8754-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard, recommended in status, that sets the type designation system for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear. It lays down the principles for naming models, the composition of a model designation and the methods for drawing one up.
