Foreword
GB/T 15166 "High Voltage AC Fuse" includes the following parts.
--- Part 1. Terminology;
--- Part 2. Current limiting fuses;
---Part 3. Jet fuses;
--- Part 4. Fuse for external protection of shunt capacitors;
--- Part 5. Guidelines for the selection of fuses for high-voltage fuses for motor circuits;
--- Part 6. Guidelines for the selection of fuses for high-voltage fuses for transformer circuits.
This part is the first part of GB/T 15166.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 15166.1-1994 "Exchange High Voltage Fuse Terminology". This part is related to GB/T 15166.1-1994
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Reorganized the standard chapter according to "fuse and its components, characteristic parameters and additional terms";
--- Added related terms such as "backup fuses, general-purpose fuses, full-range fuses";
--- Added Appendix A and Appendix B.
This section uses the redrafting method to modify the use of IEC 60050-441.1984 A1.2000 "International Electrotechnical Vocabulary Chapter 441. Switches
Equipment, Control Equipment and Fuses (Part 18).
This section is structurally adjusted compared to IEC 60050-441.1984 (Part 18), which is listed in Appendix A.
A list of chapter numbers for IEC 60050-441.1984 (Part 18).
This section has made the following editorial changes.
--- Modified the standard name;
---Reorganized the chapter number sequence;
--- Added index.
This part was proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association.

2 Terms and definitions
2.1 fuses and their components
2.1.1
Fuse fuse
When the current exceeds the specified value for a sufficient time, the current is interrupted by melting one or several specially designed proportional components to break it
A device that accesses the loop. The fuse includes all the components that make up the complete device.
2.1.2
Terminal
A conductive component of a fuse connected to an external circuit.
Note. Terminals can be distinguished by circuit type (such as main terminal, grounding terminal, etc.) or by structure (such as screw terminals, plug terminals, etc.).
2.1.3
Fuse base fuse-base; fuse-mount
A fixed part of a fuse with contacts and terminals.
2.1.4
Fuse base contact fuse-basecontact
Contact parts on the fuse base that engage the fuse or fuse contacts.
2.1.5
Fuser-carrier
A movable part of a fuse for loading a fuse.
2.1.6
Fuser contact fuse-carriercontact
Contact member of the load carrying member that engages the fuse base contact.
2.1.7
Fuse holder fuse-holder
A combination of a fuse base and a load carrying member.
2.1.8
Fuse-use
A fuse component including a melt to be replaced after the fuse is actuated.
2.1.9
Fuse contact fuse-linkcontact
Contact member of the fuse that engages the fuse base contact or the carrier member contact.
