4 Classification

4.1 Paper and paperboard are classified into sheet paper, roll paper, and coil paper according to their packaging form. Sheet paper is packaged in various ways, including plywood or pallet packaging and cartons. Alternatively, it can be packaged in wooden crates, flexible packaging, etc. Packaging methods for roll paper include roll packaging and pallet packaging. Packaging methods for sheet paper include roll packaging. Packaging methods include pallet packaging, flexible packaging, cardboard boxes or wooden crates, etc.

4.2 Pulp is classified into pulp bales, roll pulp, and bulk pulp according to its packaging form.

5.1 General Rules

5.1.1 Paper, paperboard and pulp packaging should adequately protect the product from loosening, moisture and deformation during transportation and storage.

5.1.2 Appropriate packaging methods should be selected based on the type, size, and surrounding environment of the paper, paperboard, and pulp to ensure the safety of the product during storage and transportation. Effective protection was provided during the process.

5.1.3 While meeting the requirements, the amount of packaging material used should be minimized. Packaging materials should be clean, dry, and odorless, and should be used preferentially. Materials that do not cause environmental pollution or are reusable, recyclable, or recyclable. For food contact paper and paperboard, materials that come into direct contact with the product... 5.1.5 The water absorption of the packaging paper used for inner and outer packaging should not exceed

30.0 g/m2, and the moisture content of the wood used for packaging should not exceed 20%.

5.1.6 Products in the same package should be from the same batch. In special circumstances, when products from different batches are packaged in the same package, they should be clearly labeled.

5.1.7 The quality and dimensions of the packaging shall comply with the freight regulations of the relevant carrier.

5.2.1 Packaging with plywood or pallets

5.2.1.1 Requirements for small packaging and outer packaging 5.2.1.1.1 When using plywood or pallets for packaging, paper and cardboard can be packaged into smaller packages. Depending on the basis weight of the paper and cardboard, each small package... Choose an appropriate number of sheets, such as 250 sheets, 125 sheets, or 100 sheets. Packaging can also be done by ream, with each ream of paper and cardboard typically containing 500 sheets. 5.2.1.1.2 A refill label should be affixed to the end of each small package. The refill label should include the name, quantity, specifications, and number of sheets. 5.2.1.2 Requirements for clamps 5.2.1.2.1 The surface of the plywood should be flat, nails should not protrude from the surface, and there should be no holes with a diameter greater than 30mm on the surface. 5.2.1.2.2 Plastic, metal, or other materials may be used as needed for the splints.

5.2.1.3 Pallet Requirements 5.2.1.3.1 According to packaging form, pallets can be divided into pallets with top clamps and pallets without top clamps. 5.2.1.4 Packaging Requirements 5.2.1.4.1 Paper items should be placed on a tray without a top clamp, between two clamps or between a clamp and the tray. Place moisture-proof paper or plastic film underneath. 5.2.1.4.2 Packaging should be done using packing straps, wire, or steel straps. Packaging should be sturdy and should not break or twist easily under slight external force. When using wire, edge protectors should be used at the corners of the clamping plates. 5.2.2 Packaging in cardboard boxes or wooden crates

5.2.2.1 When packaging with cardboard boxes or wooden boxes, the box walls should be lined with moisture-proof paper or plastic film, and the box should be filled as full as possible.

5.2.2.2 After the product is packed, the packaging materials on all four sides should be folded upwards, and the top should be covered with moisture-proof paper or plastic film before sealing. Sealing the box. The lid of the cardboard box should be flattened, and the lid and corners should be taped in place. Then, secure it tightly with two straps. 5.2.3 Flexible Packaging

5.2.3.1 For short-distance transportation, flexible packaging may be used.

5.2.3.2 Paper items using flexible packaging are generally packaged with wrapping paper, and shrink or stretch plastic film packaging can also be added as needed.

5.2.3.3 When packaging printing paper, writing paper, or drawing paper, a moisture-proof paper or plastic film should be used as a lining.

5.2.3.4 During the packaging process, any excess packaging paper, moisture-proof paper, or plastic film should be folded over both ends of the paper item and secured with glue or tape.

5.3.1 Roll Packaging

5.3.1.1 Roll paper is packaged with wrapping paper.

5.3.1.2 Place a round piece of wrapping paper or corrugated cardboard on each end face of the roll to protect the end faces during loading, unloading, and stacking. The outer packaging paper, which extends beyond the width of the roll, should be folded on the end face of the roll. It is advisable to attach a round packaging paper to each end to seal the end face.

5.3.1.3 Packing may be carried out with strapping or steel strapping at a certain distance from the end face of the roll, with no less than two straps per roll.

5.3.1.4 Plastic film can be used for shrink and stretch packaging as needed.

5.3.2 Pallet Packaging

5.3.2.1 For rolls of paper with high value or high quality requirements, packaging with a pallet with a top clamp can be used.

5.3.2.2 Place the pre-wrapped rolls of paper on a tray, and then place the clamping board on top. The tray and clamping board should be slightly larger than intended. The outer diameter of the roll. Then, use packing straps or steel straps to tie it in a cross shape along the upper clamp and the center of the pallet. The bundle should be secure, not skewed, and the tightness should be appropriate. Consistency is key. The joints of the packing straps or steel straps should be secured with buckles or overlaps to prevent the packaging from tearing under slight external force.

5.4.1 Roll Packaging

5.4.1.1 Packaging requirements for two semi-circular plugs and a circular wooden board 5.4.1.1.1 The paper roll should be tightly fitted onto the longitudinally slit stopper. After the paper roll is fitted onto the stopper, wedges should be driven into both ends of the stopper to hold it in place. Tighten. If no stopper is used, it is advisable to place a layer of cardboard between every 4 to 5 reels of paper, then wrap it with packaging paper, and then assemble the paper into pieces according to the required quantity. 5.4.1.1.2 After the roll of paper is fitted into the stopper, both ends of the roll are padded with a material of the same diameter as the roll. This can be moisture-proof paper or a thin film and packaging. The paper is packaged in a full roll and the two ends of the roll are tied tightly with tape. 5.4.1.1.3 Cover both ends of the roll with a round wooden board, the diameter of the board being slightly larger than the diameter of the roll, then secure it tightly with packing straps or wire and U-shaped nails. 5.4.1.2 Packaging requirements for round wooden cores and cross-shaped boards 5.4.1.2.1 After the roll of paper is placed inside the stopper, it is fully wrapped with several layers of wrapping paper. The wrapping paper extending beyond the end should be folded on the end face of the roll. 5.4.1.2.2 Both ends of the roll are covered with cross-shaped strips and nailed to the end of the stopper for protection. 5.4.2 Pallet Packaging

5.4.2.1 Place the corrugated cardboard on a pallet, and place the corresponding number of plastic bags according to the number of stacks of paper rolls to be placed on each pallet. Then... The required number of paper rolls are neatly stacked into each plastic bag. A paper tube is placed in the gap between each stack of rolls before the plastic bag is placed over them, ensuring that the top and bottom plastic bags are aligned. 5.4.2.2 Depending on packaging needs, corrugated cardboard and a top clamp are placed on top of the paper tray stack. The dimensions of the pallet and top clamp are slightly larger than the outer diameter of the paper tray. Then, it is packaged using shrink and stretch plastic film.

5.4.3 Flexible Packaging

5.4.3.1 Wrap several reels of paper into small packages using wrapping paper or plastic film. The number of reels in each package depends on the width of the paper.

5.4.3.2 Both ends of the small package should be padded with circular wrapping paper of the same diameter as the paper tray, and then the edges of the wrapping paper should be folded over the end of the paper tray. Okay, then attach another identical round wrapping paper. Tie the small package tightly with string or tape, and at the corners, place several layers of wrapping paper or fold it under the string. 5.4.3.3 Stack several small packages together and wrap them with wrapping paper. Fold the edges of the wrapping paper over the end face of the package and secure with string or tape. Bundle the paper items tightly in both directions to ensure a secure package.

5.4.4 Wooden or cardboard box packaging

5.4.4.1 Before packing, the inner walls of the box can be lined with moisture-proof paper, plastic film or packaging paper.

5.4.4.2 After the paper rolls are packed into boxes, the gaps between the small packages and the box walls can be sealed with shredded paper or wrapping paper, and the top of the paper rolls should be covered with several sheets of wrapping paper. The lid should be securely sealed, but should not damage the packaging paper or roll paper.

5.5.1 Pulp Packaging

5.5.1.1 Each pulp bale shall be packaged individually, and the weight of a single pulp bale shall generally not exceed 250 kg. Pulp slab bales shall be wrapped with at least one layer of the same type of pulp slab. Pack the items securely with packing wire or steel wire, ensuring the quality of the packaging.

5.5.1.2 Each batch of combined pulp bags usually consists of 8 pulp bags, which are tied together with steel wire. The packaging should be secure, without any loose parts, and convenient for transportation.

5.5.1.3 When using the same type of pulp board for packaging, the weight of the packaging material should be included in the net weight of the pulp bag; when using different types of pulp board for packaging, the weight of the packaging material should be included in the net weight of the pulp bag. The weight of the pulp bag is not included in the net weight of the pulp bag.

5.5.2 Roll Packaging Roll pulp is generally packaged with coated paper and plastic film. Plastic film can also be used alone to ensure the product remains uncontaminated. Shrink and stretch packaging.

6.1 Paper and Paperboard

6.1.1 Each outer packaging of paper and cardboard shall be printed or firmly affixed with a clear label for easy identification, and the label content shall be consistent with the contents. 7 Transportation

7.1 During transportation, clean transport vehicles should be used, and the packaging should be covered with a canopy to avoid squeezing, collision, direct sunlight, exposure to the sun, and rain. Snow and dampness should not be transported together with toxic, harmful, corrosive, or odorous items.

7.2 When handling and stacking, packages should be handled with care and should not be thrown from heights or rolled around on the ground.

8 Storage

8.1 Products should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and clean warehouse with facilities for moisture prevention, mildew prevention, insect prevention, rodent prevention, and fire prevention; special requirements apply. The requirements should be specified in the relevant product standards.
