Foreword

GB/T 10335 "Coated paper and cardboard" is divided into five parts.

---Part 1. Coating art printing paper (coated paper);

--- Part 2. Lightweight coated paper;

---Part 3. Coated white cardboard;

--- Part 4. Coated white paperboard;

--- Part 5. Coating box cardboard. This part is the second part of GB/T 10335. This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This part replaces GB/T 10335.2-2005 "Coated paper and cardboard lightweight coated paper". Compared with GB/T 10335.2-2005, The main changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 10335.2-2018 is the Chinese national standard on coated paper and board - light weight coated paper, in the field of paper technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 28 December 2018 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2019. This part of GB/T 10335 specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, and Storage. 3 Classification

Lightweight coated paper is divided into three grades of superior grade, first grade and qualified by quality.

4 Requirements

4.1 The technical specifications of lightweight coated paper shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.
