1 Scope

This document specifies the terminology and definitions, classification, grading and marking, specifications, requirements, test methods, and inspection procedures for functional films used in architectural glass.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2680 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 performance film

A special coating is applied to the surface of a polyester substrate, or (and) materials are added within the substrate to give it flexible properties such as heat insulation, safety, and decoration.

3.2 heat-insulating film

A functional membrane that selectively reflects and absorbs sunlight in the wavelength range of 300nm to 2500nm.

3.3 point defect

Particulate solids or spots that are inconsistent with the overall color of the membrane are trapped in the membrane layer.
