Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 26201-2010 "Seedling Paper". Compared with GB/T 26201-2010, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. In addition, the main technological changes are as follows:

a) The classification has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2010 edition);

b) The technical requirements for quantitative deviation, longitudinal tensile index, and air permeability have been revised (see 5.1,.2010 version of 5.1);

c) Requirements for tightness, smoothness, and heavy metals, along with corresponding test methods, have been added (see 5.1, 6.4, 6.8, and 6.10);

d) The requirement that seedling paper should not contain components detrimental to crop growth has been removed (see

5.2 of the.2010 edition);

e) The test method for air permeability has been changed (see 6.7,

6.6 in the.2010 edition);

f) The inspection rules section has been removed (see section

1 Scope

GB/T 26201-2025 is the Chinese national standard on seedling-growing paper, in the field of paper technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 29 August 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 March 2026. Classification: ICS 85.060, CCS Y 32. 3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Nursery Paper Pot Bottomless seedling containers made from seedling paper.

3.2 seedling period The seedling paper tubes (3.1) are moved into the seedling bed. The period from the start of seedling cultivation to the transplanting of seedlings is the time during which the seedling paper tubes are used.
