Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 1468-2011 "Tracing Paper". Compared with GB/T 1468-2011, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.

In addition, the main technological changes are as follows.

a) The classification of tracing paper has been changed (see 4.1, 3.1 in the 2011 edition);

b) The quantitative specification range has been changed, and corresponding requirements have been specified (see 5.1, 4.1 of the 2011 edition);

c) The transparency and tearability requirements have been changed (see 5.1, 4.1 in the 2011 version);

d) The smoothness index requirements have been changed, and the assessment method has been changed from evaluating both sides equally to evaluating only the front side (see 5.1, 4.1 in the 2011 version);

e) Water absorbency was used instead of sizing degree, and the corresponding test method was modified (see 5.1, 4.1 in the 2011 edition);

f) The requirements for moisture and dust content in delivery have been changed (see 5.1, 4.1 in the 2011 edition);

g) The requirement for immersion time for elasticity has been increased (see 6.7).

3 Terms and Definitions

This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.

4 Classification

4.1 Tracing paper is classified into engineering drawing tracing paper and packaging decoration tracing paper according to its purpose.

4.2 Tracing paper is classified into roll paper and sheet paper according to its packaging form.

5 Requirements

5.1 The internal quality of tracing paper shall conform to the requirements of Table 1.
