JB/T 7601.2-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7601.2-1994.
It is one of 21 parts of the JB/T 7601 series.
2 Scope
Part 2 of the Chinese basic technical requirements for equipment used to make electric wires and cables is JB/T 7601.2-2008, a recommended machinery industry standard on inspection and acceptance. It gives the basic requirements for inspecting and accepting this professional equipment, and it covers factory testing and user acceptance testing of both production equipment and test equipment, and can also be used for the appraisal of new products. Inspection of equipment for special service conditions, tropical or high-altitude for instance, is left to the purchasing agreement between supplier and buyer. Among the documents it quotes are GB 150, GB/T 13325 and JB/T 7601.11. It carries the Chinese classification K13.
