1 Foreword

JB/T 7600.1-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7600.1-1994.

It is one of 9 parts of the JB/T 7600 series.

2 Scope

This standard is Part 1 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on PNS type machine reels for electric wires and cables, and it carries the general provisions. The part gives the code, the type, the materials and the specifications of the reel, its technical requirements, the acceptance criteria and test methods, and the packaging and marking provisions. It applies to PNS type machine reels used in the production process of wire and cable. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it with Chinese classification K13 and international classification 29.060.01, in place of JB/T 7600.1-1994. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2900.10, GB/T 2900.40, JB/T 7601.2 and JB/T 7601.4.
