JB/T 5814.1-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.
It is one of 10 parts of the JB/T 5814 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the general part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the basic parameters of equipment for electric wires and cables. What it sets out are the general requirements those basic parameters have to meet, and it applies to the determination of the parameter series for wire and cable equipment of every type. The part replaces the 1991 edition, JB/T 5814.1-1991. It carries the Chinese classification K13 and the international classification 29.060.01.
