1 Foreword

JB/T 6756.1-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6756.1-1993.

It is one of 19 parts of the JB/T 6756 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and the general part of the series on test methods for the special equipment used to make electric wires and cables. It lays down the general rules for testing that equipment, the general test items and the handling of the test results, and its field of application is wire and cable equipment. The standards it quotes include GB/T 16769, the parts of JB/T 5814 from 5814.1 to 5814.9, JB/T 7601.2 and JB/T 7601.11. It replaces JB/T 6756.1-1993, is grouped under the Chinese standard classification K13, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
