It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7601.10-1994.

2 Scope

The tenth part of the Chinese basic technical requirements for wire and cable equipment, JB/T 7601.10-2008, is a recommended machinery industry standard on electrical control devices. It fixes the basic technical requirements for the control devices of such equipment, the test items and the requirements attached to them, and the inspection and acceptance to be carried out. Its field of application is the indoor-installed electrical control device of special equipment for wires and cables, with stated limits of 660 V for AC, 500 V or less for DC and a frequency below 200 Hz.
