Scope

JB/T 7601.1-2008 is the English-translated version of 电线电缆专用设备基本技术要求第1部分：一般规定.

JB/T 7601.1-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and the first part of the basic technical requirements for special equipment used to make electric wires and cables.

It sets out the general basic technical requirements for such equipment, referred to in the text simply as the device, and it is written for the design, manufacture and acceptance of that equipment.

Equipment designed, manufactured and accepted for special service conditions, such as tropical or high-altitude use, falls outside it. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 321, GB/T 4457.4, GB 8978 and JB/T 8137. It replaces JB/T 7601.1-1994 and bears the Chinese classification K13.

JB/T 7601.1-2008 was issued by MIIT on 4 June 2008 and has been in force since 1 November 2008.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7601.1-1994.

It is one of 21 parts of the JB/T 7601 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard and the first part of the basic technical requirements for special equipment used to make electric wires and cables.
