Foreword

GB/T 6060 "surface roughness comparison sample" is divided into three parts.

---Part 1. Cast surface;

--- Part 2. grinding, turning, boring, milling, inserting and planing surfaces;

--- Part 3. EDM, throwing (spraying) pills, sand blasting, grinding, boring, polishing surface.

This part is the first part of GB/T 6060.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part replaces GB/T 6060.1-1997 "surface roughness comparison sample casting surface", the main technical changes compared with GB/T 6060.1-1997 are as follows.

--- Revised the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 1997 edition);

--- Revised terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 1997 edition);

--- Revised the classification of the comparative sample and the nominal value of the surface roughness parameters (see Chapter 4, Chapter 6 of the 1997 edition);

--- Increased the manufacturing method of the comparative sample (see 5.3);

--- Revised the structural dimensions of the comparative sample (see 5.7, Chapter 8 of the 1997 edition);

--- Added inspection methods and inspection rules (see Chapter 6, Chapter 7);

--- Revised the requirement for the number of Ra measurement points (see 6.2.1, 1997 edition 7.1);

--- Revised the sampling length requirement for measuring the Ra value (see 6.2.2, 1997 edition 7.2);

--- Deleted the formula for calculating the maximum allowable value of the standard deviation of different evaluation lengths (1997 edition 7.4);

--- Increased the formula for calculating the standard deviation (see 6.3);

--- Revised the marking and packaging requirements (see Chapter 8, Chapter 9 of the 1997 edition).

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 6060 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and surface roughness of the comparison of the surface roughness of the cast metal. Number, technical requirements, inspection methods and inspection rules, signs and packaging.

This section applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of casting surface roughness comparison specimens (hereinafter referred to as comparative specimens).
