JB/T 6431-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6431-1992.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended machinery industry standard of China giving the specification for grey cast iron castings used in displacement compressors. It establishes the grades of grey iron, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and covers marking, packaging, transport and storage.
