Diaphragm compressors installed in nuclear power plants are the subject of JB/T 12566-2015, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It fixes the types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and marking, packaging and storage for diaphragm compressors used in pressurised water reactor plants. Its field of application is limited to machines whose rated discharge pressure is not more than 15 MPa and whose nominal volume flow rate is not more than 55 standard cubic metres per hour, and the page adds that compressors beyond that range may refer to the standard.
