JB/T 6905-2019 is the English-translated version of 隔膜压缩机.

JB/T 6905-2019 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for hydraulically driven metal diaphragm compressors. It fixes the model designation and the basic parameters and sets the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage for these machines.

It applies to diaphragm compressors that compress gaseous media of various kinds with a rated discharge pressure no higher than 25 MPa, while other diaphragm machines used for pressurization may follow it as a reference; the diaphragm machines specified in JB/T 12566 lie outside its field.

Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 150.1 to GB/T 150.4, GB/T 151, GB 3836.1, GB/T 3853, GB/T 7777, HG/T 2650, JB/T 2589 and JB/T 6908. It replaces JB/T 6905-2004. Issued on 2 August 2019, it has applied since 1 April 2020.
