Scope
JB/T 6880.3-2014 is the English-translated version of 泵用铸件 第3部分：泵用抗磨蚀白口铸铁件.
As the third part of the JB/T 6880 series on castings for pumps, JB/T 6880.3-2014 is a recommended machinery industry standard devoted to erosive wear-resistant white cast iron castings.
It gives the grades of white cast iron used for pump castings and states the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the items covered at acceptance, along with marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Its field of use is the flow-passage components of pumps. It works with a long list of chemical analysis and hardness references, among them GB/T 223.11, GB/T 230.1, GB/T 231.1, GB/T 6414-1999, GB/T 8263-2010 and GB/T 9439-2010.
It replaces JB/T 6880.3-1993. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6880.3-1993.
It is one of 6 parts of the JB/T 6880 series.
2 Scope
As the third part of the JB/T 6880 series on castings for pumps, JB/T 6880.3-2014 is a recommended machinery industry standard devoted to erosive wear-resistant white cast iron castings.
