JB/T 8096-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8096-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for centrifugal slurry pumps. It fixes the types and basic parameters of these pumps, the technical requirements they must meet, the test methods used on them and the inspection rules that govern their acceptance. The pumps it covers handle liquids carrying solids, such as ore, ash, coal, silt and gravel. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 3216-2005, GB/T 9239.1-2006, GB/T 11352, GB/T 13384, JB/T 4297 and JB/T 6880.3. It replaces JB/T 8096-1998.
