JB/T 8688-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8688-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry for plastic centrifugal pumps. It covers both all-plastic pumps and plastic-lined pumps, setting their types and basic parameters, their technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage of the pumps. The Chinese classification is J71 and the international classification 23.080.
