HG/T 2267-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that lays down general technical requirements for cast iron towers used in soda ash production. It covers the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the marking, packaging and storage, and also the installation of the towers and the documentation supplied with them from the works. The equipment in its scope is the carbonation and distillation towers and the other cast iron towers of a soda ash plant. GB/T 699, GB/T 700, GB/T 1220, GB/T 6414, GB/T 9439, GB/T 25712, HG/T 3155 and JB/T 7711 are among the standards quoted. It replaces HG/T 2267-1992. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
