3 Terms and Definitions
GB 29140, GB/T 32151.10-2023, GB/T 35802, HG/T 5974, HG/T 5978 and the following terms and Definitions apply to this document.
3.1
The total amount of greenhouse gases emitted by soda ash production enterprises during the statistical reporting period.
Note. This value is equal to the sum of the net carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel combustion, production processes, purchased electricity and heat in each accounting unit during the production process.
3.2
The total amount of carbon dioxide emitted per unit of qualified products by soda ash production enterprises during the statistical reporting period.
3.3 Production activities that release carbon dioxide
Soda ash production enterprises shall adopt technically feasible, economically reasonable, environmentally and socially acceptable measures to reduce the release of soda ash into the environment during the manufacturing process.

A technology that can reduce the release of carbon dioxide into the environment during the soda ash production process.
