JB/T 9856-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9856-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 9856-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard setting general specifications for the pressure die-castings of cast aluminium alloys used in rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools. It covers the classification and grade of the die casting, basic dimension tolerance grades, chemical composition and mechanical property testing, foundry slope and cast threads, machining allowance, surface form and position tolerances, cleaning, surface quality and delivery.
