JB/T 9851-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9851-1999.
2 Scope
JB/T 9851-2010 is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry for hand-held pneumatic strapping sealers. It specifies the types and basic parameters of the hand-held pneumatic strapping sealing machine, its technical requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions covering marking, packaging, transport and storage. The standard applies to hand-held pneumatic strapping sealers driven by compressed air. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it as the replacement for JB/T 9851-1999.
