Scope

JB/T 9855-2010 is the English-translated version of 凿岩机械与气动工具压铸铝合金通用技术条件.

JB/T 9855-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving general specifications for the pressure die-casting aluminium alloys used in rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools.

It sets out the grade codes of these die-cast aluminium alloys together with the technical requirements and the test methods for them. The standard applies to die-cast aluminium used in rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools.

It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and replaces JB/T 9855-1999. Two Chinese classifications, J48 and J84, are recorded for it, and internationally 25.140.01 and 73.100.01.

Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 228, GB/T 231.1, GB/T 13822-1992 and several parts of GB/T 20975.
