JB/T 7162-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7162-2004, JB/T 7162-1993.
2 Scope
JB/T 7162-2014 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the general technical conditions for the structural steel castings fitted to rock drilling machines and pneumatic tools. It classifies these castings and then sets the technical requirements, the inspection and the terms on which the castings are delivered. Its field is the structural steel castings of rock drills and pneumatic tools. It relies on the GB/T 223 series for chemical analysis, on GB/T 228.1 and GB/T 229, and on GB/T 6414-1999 and GB/T 20066-2006. It replaces JB/T 7162-2004 and is classified J84 under ICS 73.100.10.
